Mixing & Mastering

Initially, you will book a free 2-hour in-person consultation. During this session, we’ll listen through your tracks, extract stems or transfer your project file (if you use Ableton Live), and go through your reference tracks. This allows us to fully understand your vision and shape a final mix and master that matches the sound you’re aiming for.

Once the consultation process is complete and you’re happy to move forward, we will provide you with an estimated turnaround time for your track. Typically, mixing takes approximately 5 working days. However, depending on the complexity of your project, this can occasionally extend to one to two weeks due to engineer availability. Regarding pricing, our base rate is £60 per song, which includes Mixing, Mastering and Revisions. For more complex or larger-scale projects requiring additional time and precision, an additional fee may apply. Any such costs will always be discussed and agreed upon during the consultation, ensuring full transparency before proceeding. Once our engineers have completed the mixing and initial mastering of your track, we’ll schedule another session with you to review the mix together. This gives you the opportunity to make any adjustments or additions so the final sound matches your vision. At KTMX Studios, we understand that every artist has a unique style and preference. That’s why we encourage in-person sessions with our engineers—so communication is clear, changes can be made in real time, and you stay fully involved in the creative process. Once you’re completely satisfied with the revisions, our engineers will carry out the final mastering to bring your track to its full potential.

Once your track has been expertly finalised and mastered by our engineers, you will receive a secure payment link to complete the process. Upon confirmation of payment, your masters will be delivered with priority and care. Your final package will include high-resolution WAV files, MP3 formats, and, where required, tailored versions optimised to specific LUFS standards for different platforms.
